Hyderabad: Kaka Venkatswami Foundation president G. Vivek Vekatswami on Tuesday urged Union Home Minister Amit Shah to intervene into the issue of demolition of the existing Telangana Secretariat and Assembly building complexes by the State government and stop the same in the interest of the people of the State. Vivek Vekatswami submitted a representation on the issue to Amit Shah in New Delhi.
Accompanied by BJP national leader Ram Madhav, Vivek called on the Union Home Minister and submitted the representation in which he urged Amit Shah to direct the State government not to take any decision on the government buildings of Hyderabad are concerned as it is still the common capital for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States as per the AP Reorganization Act-2014.

He also said the proposed Erramanzil heritage building was included in the list of heritage buildings in the year 1998. He also said the Archeological Survey of India confirmed the same in the year 2015.
