Hyderabad: GITAM School of Science of GITAM Deemed-to-be University, Hyderabad, invited applications for admission into its B.Sc. and M.Sc. Programs for the academic year 2019-20, Prof. G.A.Rama Rao, Principal, informed in a press release today.
Applications are invited for B.Sc. (Blended) in collaboration with the University of Melbourne (UoM), Australia; B.Sc. programmes with Chemistry, Physics and Statistics as one of the core subjects – and Mathematics & Computer Science as common subjects and M.Sc. Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry and Organic Chemistry Programmes.
B.Sc. (Blended) is a innovative new curriculum integrates the four major disciplines of science (Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Biology) into a common curriculum for all students for two years, followed by a strategic but diverse choice of major streams in third year. The University of Melbourne will recognise the B.Sc. (Blended), and graduates will be eligible to apply for postgraduate Science programs at the UoM on an equivalent basis.
Candidates with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in group (optional) subjects in the qualifying (10+2) examination are eligible to apply for UG programmes and B.Sc. with Chemistry as one of the subjects for PG Programmes. BZC students also can apply for B.Sc. Programmes.
