Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao today decided to appoint MLC and TRS State General Secretary Palla Rajeshwar Reddy as the president of Telangana State Level Farmers Coordination Committee. (TSFCC)
According to a CMO press release, The CM has instructed officials concerned to take up the appointment process of Rajeshwar Reddy as President of Farmers Coordination Committee. The CM has asked the officials to release the appointment letter at the earliest. The CM also disclosed that members of the Farmers Coordination Committee will also be appointed shortly.
The CM has decided that by coming June, the farmers coordination committees will be strengthened from village to the State level and farmers in the State will become a formidable force. The CM also instructed the officials concerned to complete the Farmers Dias cluster-wise. The CM is of the firm view that the farmers coordination Committees should be made into an organization which will help farmers from sowing the seeds to getting the minimum support price for their produce.
The CM also decided to have a high level review meeting in the three or four days on strengthening the farmers coordination committees, making the farmers a formidable force, construction of farmers dais and other farmer related issues as well as on Agriculture department.
