Hyderabad: Inquiry by  a team of National Human Rights Commission into the encounter of the four accused in Disha murder case was completed at Mahbubnagar District Hospital on Saturday.

A special team of the Commission from New Delhi visited the Mahabubnagar District hospital and examined the bodies of the four accused. They reached the hospital at 1.30 pm and spent time till 4.40 pm. They also interacted with the doctors and other officials in the hospital. Although the local officials had prior information that the HRC team members were coming to visit the encounter at Chatanpalli area first, they did not visit the place but came to the district hospital in Mahabubnagar directly from Shamshabad International airport.

The process of handing over the bodies to their family members was stalled with directive from the High Court. The bodies would be kept at the mortuary of the district hospital till Monday evening.

The team members perused postmortem reports of the accused for three hours. They also observed bullet injuries on the dead bodies of the accused. A team of forensic doctors of Gandhi Hospital also took part in the process. They also read the documents.

On the other hand, a complaint has been registered in the encounter of the accused following a complaint by ACP Surender  Rao. RAW is the investigating officer of the Disha murder case. On the other hand, a Clues  Team would visit the encounter site to collect evidence. They are likely to use metal detectors to find out the bullets.
