Hyderabad: Home Minister Mahamood Ali and Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav today inspected the two bed room housing facility for poor at Ziaguda in the old city here. The ministers were accompanied by a team of officials to the site.
They said the TRS government has begun construction of some 2.50 lakh housing units in the State. One lakh units in the city and the remaining in districts will be allotted to the poor, they said. The double bedroom houses will be given to poor people free of cost, they added.
The ministers said Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao launched the double housing facility for the poor to make their living comfortable with self-respect. No other State in the country was providing such a housing facility for the poor, they said. They also asked the officials to speed up the process to allot houses to eligible people.
