Hyderabad: Union Cabinet berth has been confirmed to senior BJP leader and Secunderabad MP G. Kishan Reddy. The BJP national president Amit Shah rang up Kishan Reddy and gave the good news to him. He also asked him to come to Delhi to take oath as Union minister in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s cabinet.
The news of his promotion as Union minister was also confirmed by Kishan Reddy himself. He took to his official twitter handle to break the news to his supporters and followers. He said the blessings of PM Modi and the love and affection of people of Secunderabad was responsible for his promotion as the Union minister. Kishan Reddy won from the seat with a clear majority by defeating his nearest rival from ruling TRS party Talasani Sai Kiran Yadav in the recent Lok Sabha elections.
