Vijayawada: Union Minister of State for Home G. Kishan Reddy on Sunday said the two Telugu-speaking States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh would soon witness ripples in politics. He said people would see several changes in their respective States during the next two years.
Addressing a gathering of party workers as part of its membership drive held at Ailapuram hotel, Kishan Reddy said he would tour the two Telugu States extensively. Reiterating that the BJP was the only alternative to ruling YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh, he said he would spare no efforts for the development of the two Telugu States. He said the Centre would give even the last rupee to complete the construction of Polavaram project. He also said the Central government had already sanctioned funds for the provision of basic infrastructure in the State.
Noting that a powerful government returned to power at the Center for a second consecutive term, he said they were trying to improve the reputation of India at the global level. He also claimed that they had initiated several steps for the strengthening Indian economy. He said he was confident that the center would fulfill all the needs while noting that they were committed for the development of the state.
