Hyderabad: TRS supremo and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao today inaugurated a new residential complex with ultra-modern facilities for legislators, their personal assistants and staff in the city.
The Legislators’ residential complex at Hyderguda was inaugurated in the presence of Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, several State ministers, including Vemula Prashant Reddy, Mohd Mahmood Ali and A Indrakaran Reddy. Built at a cost of Rs 166 crore, the Legislators’ complex was constructed in an area of 4.26 acres, official sources said.
The Legislators’ Hostel Block comprises 120 flats each admeasuring 2,500 sft. The 12-storeyed buildings have five blocks and each block has ten flats. Each flat has one master bedroom, children’s bedroom, office, kichen room and store room. Besides, 120 flats were constructed each admeasuring 325 sft for personal assistants. Another 36 flats were constructed in 1,000 sft for the servants. A special block in 1.25 lakh sft was constructed for IT and basic facilities. There are eight lifts and parking space for 276 cars. The complex also has a security office. In the ground floor, the complex has 23 special rooms for meeting visitors. It has a club house, exercise room and a supermarket.
