Tirumala: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will be visiting Tirumala on September 30, on the first day of the annual Brahmotsavam celebrations, and present silk robes to Lord Venkateswara as part of the customary ritual.
He will leave Tadepalli at 1.30 pm and reach Renigunta Airport at 3 pm. He will first go to Tiruchanoor and inaugurate Padmavathi Nilayam there. After the inauguration, he will go to Alipiri and lay the foundation stone for a four-lane highway to Cherlopalli. Later, Jagan will reach Tirumala and lay the foundation stone for Matrusri Vakula Devi Rest House and another Utility Complex for the devotees. At 7 pm, the Chief Minister will formally present the silk robes to the Lord on behalf of the State. After having darshan of the deity, he will participate in the Pedda Sesha Vahana Seva ritual. He will rest at Tirumala for the night and leave for Tadepalli on October 1.
