Hyderabad: Tourism and Culture Minister V Srinivas Goud today said that the State government is holding 5th edition of Indian Photography Festival 2019 in September. Addressing a press conference at Secretariat along with secretary B Venkateshm and other officials, the minister said that we are happy to announce to conduct the national photography festival at Madhapur Art Gallery in Hyderabad from September 19 to October 20. The tourism and culture wing is being developed to protect our tradition and festivals of the state he said.
All fields are developed significantly in the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao who is giving priority to tourism and culture development. The photography festival will attract the national and international tourists to the state and a plan is prepared for this he informed. The minister stated that national geographical channel is coordinating with the state tourism wing to hold the festival in a grand manner.
About 2000 international photographers, artists and 552 international photographers from about 52 nations are to attend the grand festival. The counties to participate US, England, Australia, Finland, New Zealand, Sweden, Hong Kong, Japan, Spain Greece, Italy and others. He attributed the photography festival to international city. International magazines such a European Photography and The Sunday Guardian have acknowledged about this festival to be held in Hyderabad he added. Our festivals culture and tradition will be known to the outer world with this photography festival including Bathukamma, Boddemma and others he hoped.
