Hyderabad: CLP Leader in Telangana Assembly Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Sunday alleged that the State was under the grip of viral fevers. He also alleged that the government hospitals lacked adequate infrastructure to serve the viral fever affected families.
Raising the issue during question hour, Bhatti said several hospitals in the State didn’t have equipment to conduct surgeries. He asked the State government as to what steps it was taking to increase the bed strength in all the government hospitals in the State. He also brought the issue of poor sanitary conditions in the villages due to lack of funds to the gram panchayats by the State government during the last six years. He said salaries of the sanitation staff were not being paid prompting them to declare non-cooperation over the 30-day action plan of the State government.
