Hyderabad: The process of handing over of AP buildings in the Secretariat to Telangana Government was nearing completion as the officials have speeded up the same. The AP Government will soon issue orders on handing over the blocks and buildings to Telangana Government.
The AP officials speeded up the process of transferring the buildings in the Secretariat to Telangana government followed by directives from Governor ESL Narasimhan and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao. They instructed the officials to shift the offices to AP and handover the same to the Telangana Government. The shifting of office materials from various blocks was almost completed, according to information.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary LV Subramanyam has already informed his Telangana counterpart that they will shift the material and wind up the process by June 19. Having offered some of the buildings to the Telangana Government, the AP Government is speeding up the rest of buildings. As per plan, the officials of AP were involved in the handing over the blocks to Telangana officials.
Telangana Chief Minister asked his AP counterpart Jagan Mohan Reddy for the same and the latter readily accepted it. Remaining process of handing over of the rest of the blocks and buildings will be completed by Wednesday evening, informed sources said. The AP Government will issue related orders of handing over the buildings officially to the Telangana Government.
