Hyderabad: Eppili Krishna, aged 20 years, was convicted with punishment of Rigorous Imprisonment for Life and fined Rs. 5,000/- in a case relating to sexual assault and kidnap of a minor girl.
The accused was a Wall Painter, and resident of Janata nagar, Kukatpally and native of Odissa State. The victim girl, aged 15 years, was studying Seventh class. The accused induced her to love him. Later he made sexual assaults on her several times due to which she got pregnancy. On 28-04-2016, the accused forcibly kidnapped the victim girl from her house, dropped her back at her house two months later and went away.
Following a complaint, the accused was arrested on June 13, 2016 and was remanded.
Police said that the accused Krishna was also involved in sensational murder of an intermediate student with hunting sickles on March 12, 2018 on National Highway under Kukatpally Police Station limits.

During the trial, the MSJ Court LB Nagar, yesterday convicted the accused with Rigorous Imprisonment for Life and fined Rs. 5,000/-. Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad VC. Sajjanar appreciated K. Purushotham, Inspector of Police, Rajireddy Addl PP, Ramesh Kumar CDO Kukatpally and Smt. N.Pankaja, for their efforts in getting conviction of the accused.
